Application overview
Protector Lite is a free application which allows you to protect any 100% managed assembly using various techniques to inhibit decompilation and other forms of reverse engineering. An assembly protected by Protector Lite can be obfuscated subsequently by other tool, e.g. Dotfuscator Community Edition which is included with Visual Studio.
Features
- Protection against decompilation to the high-level language
- Embedding and compressing dependencies
- String encryption
- Invocation protection (technique similar to the control flow obfuscation)
- Protection of both unsigned and signed assemblies
Full version of Protector, which is not available here yet, is also capable of obfuscating assemblies.
Requirements
- .NET Framework 2.0 (or newer)
- either SDK for .NET Framework or Visual Studio 2005 (or newer)
